Sunday – Duathlon, 15 mile trail, 3 mile trail
Royal Deeside Golf Week has been running since 1975. Competitors are provided with a week of golfing competition and evening entertainment. The event regularly attracts around 100 participants to Ballater.
5 Rounds of Golf at Ballater Golf Course. A mid week day off to sample other local golf courses, including Balmoral Golf Course which is situated in the grounds of Balmoral Castle, the Queen’s holiday residence.
Evening entertainment – Welcome Dinner, Pipe Band and Highland Dance Display, Prize Giving Dinner …….
Daily tuition is provided by our PGA Professional Bill Yule.
Partners can be arranged for all golfing events, so there is no need to worry about attending on your own.

The main event; 12 Giant Ducks racing down the River Dee, with a Rotary run Tote for a flutter on your chosen Duck, and our Pipe Band led parade for the winning Duck into the village.
Onstage musical entertainment, including Ballater School Choir.
80 stalls, from Craft to Charity to Trade; children’s entertainment from Bouncy Castle, Donkey Riding and Bungee Trampolines.
Not forgetting wonderful food including burgers, hog roast, pizza and donuts.
Initiated in 1987 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Queen Victoria’s accession and to raise funds for the refurbishment of the Victoria and Albert Halls, Ballater’s Victoria Week brings together numerous sections of the community to lay on a host of fun activities for all ages.
There have been Games held in Ballater since 1864 and, apart from the war years, the Games have continued uninterrupted until the present day.
Ballater Highland Games prides itself in having something for everyone, young and old alike. On Games Day there are a number of varied trade stands, together with a funfair for the children.
To complete the day, Beat Retreat by the Pipe Bands is planned for 7pm on the Church Green in Ballater.
